Hi there, I’m Bec!

I was 14, my mom got remarried. I was asked to help with the flowers for her wedding. I loved it! I worked at two other florist shops during high school, but I realized I wanted to "be my own girl boss" and took a leap of faith to share my gifts and passion about seven years ago! My mom suggested the business name "Brushed by Bec" because I am artistic and always loved painting. The name stuck!

I'm a self-taught designer who values entrepreneurship and following my dreams. From starting this business from the kitchen table I'm still amazed at the support I've received and how much my business has grown over the years! My studio space is my happy place and I love sharing flowers with others!

When I don't have my hands in flowers you'll find me painting as a hobby, playing with my dog and cat, or cooking for my husband, Dylan. I enjoy a good golf cart ride to my grandparents' house or around the fields and woods on our family land. I'm known for recycling and now for raising chickens. I am blessed, and life is good!
